RESEARCH / OPEN QUESTIONS

What does reliable execution ask of an AI system?

Illustration of an open research loop

Questions we are exploring while we build systems that can participate in real work.

Reliability is not a property a system receives from one model response. It is built across time, context and responsibility.

AI systems can already produce capable work in short interactions. The open problem is helping them carry out longer work while keeping their actions grounded, inspectable and appropriate to the people involved.

Work needs a clear state

A dependable system needs to know what it is doing, what has already happened and what remains unresolved. That continuity is essential when work lasts beyond a single response.

Oversight should be part of the flow

Human review matters most when it is designed into the system early. We are exploring how clear authority boundaries can make independence useful without making it invisible.

Knowledge has boundaries

Organization-specific knowledge makes an AI employee more useful, but it also raises questions about access, relevance and retention. Context needs to be helpful without becoming unbounded.

Research in public, carefully

These are questions, not completed claims. As our work becomes ready to share, Idrok will publish notes that explain what we are learning and why it matters.
